Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of the Beatles posing together in the gardens of London’s Russell Square, one of several images photographed by Dezo Hoffman on July 2, 1963, the day after the band recorded the ‘She Loves You / I'll Get You,’ signed and inscribed on the reverse in black ballpoint, “To Carol, love Paul McCartney,” “John Lennon,” and “George Harrison,” and in black ink, “Ringo Starr.” In very good to fine condition, with overall light creasing, and fading to Ringo's signature.
The Beatles recorded ‘She Loves You’ five days after it was written, during a five-hour session in Abbey Road’s studio two. Documentation for the session no longer exists, but it was taped on July 1, 1963, the same day as its b-side, ‘I’ll Get You.’ ‘She Loves You’ was released as a single on August 23, 1963, and is perhaps the main song to spark the Beatlemania craze. It remains their best-selling single in the UK.
