Two items: a glossy 8 x 10 photo featuring an AP wire image of Gemini 6 astronaut Wally Schirra and Tom Stafford making their way to the spacecraft, signed in black ink by both astronauts, with the upper section also signed by comedian Bill Dana; and a vintage NASA booklet entitled “Project Gemini,” 52 pages, 8 x 10.25, signed on the front cover in black felt tip by Schirra and Stafford, with both adding “Gemini 6” and Schirra writing “Rendezvous.” In overall fine condition, with smudging to Bill Dana's signature.
The consignor notes: ‘Comedian Bill Dana got Wally Schirra to sign this photo for me at the 2002 Astronaut Hall of Fame event at KSC. Tom Stafford added his name at the 2014 ASF Autograph Show as a way to say ‘thanks’ for giving him a custom designed SR-71 Blackbird tie made by Bethany Shorb.’
