Quick ALS signed “G. Bernard Shaw,” penned vertically on the reverse of a 3.25 x 5.5 photo postcard of Holborn Head Lighthouse in Thurso, postmarked from Andover on December 20, 1926. The handwritten letter to his housekeeper, Miss Bilton, located at “10 Adelphi Terrace, London,” (where Shaw entertained Mark Twain), in full: “Keep the overcoat at the Terrace until I return. It is a town overcoat to replace the one I sent away.” In fine condition.
