Illuminated manuscript apostolic blessing, signed "Benedictus PP. XV," one page, 9 x 13.75, issued from the Vatican on April 7, 1921. An apostolic blessing and plenary indulgence at the hour of death for Senator Philippe Casgrain, his wife, and family, featuring a calligraphic inscription, and an affixed portrait by Guiseppe Felici of Pope Benedict XV, who has signed at the bottom. In fine condition, with light silvering to the image, and a small hole barely touching the signature.
