A period three-ring engineering binder containing sundry sheets, packets, and schematics related to the innovative Mercury capsule, which includes an “Equipment Installation Chart,” a “Wire Bundle and Segment Location Reference,” “Fuse Identification” list, a list “f SEDR’s currently applicable to Project Mercury,” numerous “Quality Control Planning” sheets for the capsule (many for “Single Installation”), a large fold-out schematic diagram for the “Environmental Control System,” and more.
A three-ring binder containing the Apollo Operations Handbook: Lunar Excursion Module,” prepared by Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp. as a “Type I Document,” issued as the “Preliminary Issue,” dated September 1, 1966, over 400 pages, which contains the following main sections: General Information, Subsystems Data, Controls and Displays, Operational Data, Experiments and Scientific Equipment Data, Crew Personal Equipment, Subsystem Schematics, Normal/Backup Procedures, Contingency Procedures, Maintenance Procedures, Experiments Procedures, Evaluation Test Procedures, and Abbreviated Checklists. In overall very good to fine condition, with some pages loose, light stains, and slight wear to edges.
