Original vintage glossy 49.25 x 9.5 silver gelatin photograph of the lunar surface taken by the Apollo 17 panoramic camera, identified at the center: "2871 Apollo 17 Panoramic Dec 1972." The impressive image features a view of the Mare Smythii, with the crater Hirayama at its southeastern edge. Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with a stain to the upper left, and some scattered creasing and surface rubbing.
