American painter and writer of science fiction (1920–1994) celebrated for the artwork he created for science fiction books and magazines in the 1950s. Original circa 1980s planetscape painting accomplished by Morris Scott Dollens in colorful casein paints on a 20 x 15 board, titled and signed in the lower corners in paint by the artist, "Lunar Landscape, Morris Scott Dollens." The painting portrays a hilly lunar landscape with Earth in the distance, framed by tall, textured ridges. In very good to fine condition.
