United States Navy uniform decorations from the personal collection of Apollo 12 moonwalker Alan Bean, who wore these devices as a midshipman of the Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) while at the University of Texas (Austin) from 1950 to 1955. The lot includes his gold-plated U.S. Navy midshipman collar pin, 1.25˝ x 1.75˝, and his black U.S. Navy shoulder board, 1.75˝ x 5.5˝, with central midshipman insignia, upper U.S. Navy seal button, and a single yellow stripe to bottom. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Amy Bean, the daughter of Alan Bean.
