Uncommon left-handed Phase VI Space Shuttle glove TMG (Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment), with an ILC-Dover tag on the interior, reading: "Item: R.P. Heated TMG, Glove Assembly, Part No. 0106-211768-03, Serial No. 061, Size ZLE, Code ID 74897, Mfg. 6/96," struck through and annotated in red felt tip, "Class III W." The glove TMG features a gray silicon palm and fingertips, a handback flap, and provisions for supporting a remote power supply for an active fingertip heating system (on/off pull strap and cables missing). The TMG is the outermost layer of the spacesuit and provides insulation, radiation shielding, and protection from micrometeorites that could otherwise puncture the suit. Accompanied by its plastic bag with NASA-JSC label.
