Director, actor, and screenwriter (1880-1962) best known as the director of Dracula in 1931 and the cult classic Freaks in 1932. Large vintage pencil signature, "Tod Browning,” on an off-white 7.5 x 5 album page. In very good to fine condition, with thin tape to the top and bottom edges, and irregular light toning and staining. Bold and unusually large, this is an ideal example of the tremendously difficult to find early director.
