Group of 22 original vintage glossy 8 x 10 photographs pertaining to Scott Carpenter and his MA-7 mission aboard the Aurora 7 in 1962, showing him during pre-launch tests and checkout procedures, artist's concepts of the mission profile, electrical installation the MA-7 spacecraft by General Dynamics, food developed for the mission by Pillsbury, Cece Bibby's painting of the Aurora 7 emblem on the side of the capsule, launch preparations at Cape Canaveral, space suit checks, and a pre-launch medical examination. All bear NASA caption text or affixed descriptions from contractors—General Dynamics and Pillsbury—and four bear black NASA numbering on the front. In overall fine condition.
