Group of 12 original vintage glossy 8 x 10 NASA photographs of John Glenn preparing for his MA-6 mission aboard the Friendship 7 in 1962, showing him shaving, undergoing last minute medical checks, eating in the crew quarters before launch, suiting up, adjusting his suit and helmet, talking with Deke Slayton, entering the Friendship 7 spacecraft, and launching from Cape Canaveral. Also includes a photo of the Mercury-Atlas 5 liftoff, carrying chimpanzee Enos into orbit on November 29, 1961. All have black NASA caption text on the reverse. In overall fine condition.
