Signed and inscribed on the title page in felt tip, "For Paul and Virginia Lingren, with love, Francoise Gilot," who incorporates a wonderful human-faced heart sketch into her autograph. The book shows heavy wear, toned pages, tears to the cover, and a creased spine from reading, but the sketch page is clean and in fine condition.
