The earlier letter, in part: “As it turns out the cosmonauts for the joint mission will be arriving in Houston 2 weeks from now for a short visit.” The second, in part: “It was good to hear from you again. The photos have been inscribed and are enclosed as you requested. I am still a member of the Astronaut Corps and look forward to flying the space shuttle in orbit. No crews have been assigned yet for the first orbital missions.” In overall very good to fine condition, with small creases and light paperclip impressions to the photo.
