Description

ALS signed “George B.,” one page, 6.25 x 4.25, The Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations letterhead, September 18, 1972. Handwritten letter to Ed Furlow of Arlington, Virginia, in full: "I didn't even hear the rumor! Anyway thanks for the note—great hearing from you." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Bush's own hand. Appointed by Richard Nixon, George Bush served as United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 1971 to 1973.
