I am looking forward to reading Beebe's book while I am at Hyde Park. I leave for Hyde Park on Sunday. Wouldn't it be grand if we were just going aboard the U.S.S. Houston? However, I am afraid that no other trip would equal it. Those things are rarely repeated." In fine condition. In the summer of 1938, President Roosevelt went on a 24-day cruise aboard USS Houston to fish the waters of the Galápagos Islands, a trip that concluded on August 9, 1938, at Pensacola, Florida.
