LBJ thanks a congressman "for the heartening pledge of support for my nomination and election to the Presidency given me by the Democratic Congressional Delegation from Florida"

TLS as president signed “Lyndon,” one page, 6.75 x 8.75, White House letterhead, January 26, 1964. Letter to Congressman Claude Pepper, in full: "This is to express again my deep appreciation for the heartening pledge of support for my nomination and election to the Presidency given me by the Democratic Congressional Delegation from Florida. This unanimous action greatly increases the prospects for returning Florida to the Democratic column this year, and I look forward to working with you toward this end." In fine condition, with staple holes to the upper left corner.
