Description

Czechoslovak long-distance runner nicknamed the 'Czech Locomotive' best known for winning three gold medals at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki (1922-2000). TLS, one page, 8.25 x 7.75, Czechoslovak Union of Physical Education letterhead, June 9, 1982. Letter to Karel Komel, identifying athletes Bedřiška Müllerová-Kulhavá, Jiří Dadák, and Dana Zátopková in an image taken at the opening ceremony of the athletic Spartakiad competitions at the Evžena Rošického stadium in Strahov, Prague, in May 1955. In fine condition.
