Bound as a single volume, 6 x 9, 554 pages. The volume features the first appearance of 'Mocha Dick: Or the White Whale of the Pacific: A Leaf from a Manuscript Journal' by J. N. Reynolds, an account which influenced Herman Melville's Moby-Dick (1851). Book condition: G+/None, with overall wear, restorations to the spine, bookplate to front pastedown, and some creasing to textblock.
