Westinghouse,” one page, 8 x 10.25, personal letterhead, August 22, 1913. Letter to Captain G. E. Burd of the New York Navy Yard's Machinery Division, in full: “As I said to you to-day, I was very pleased to have your letter of August 18th and to know that Mr. Walker of The Scientific American would like to have drawings and particulars in regard to the battleship layout to which you refer. We will get the information prepared at the earliest possible moment and then get in touch with Mr. Walker. Thanking you for your courtesy in the matter.” In fine condition, with some light creasing.
