Unique archive of over 40 pages of notes and letters by Marlene Dietrich, mostly handwritten in French (with a few typed or in English), including 15 signed by the actress, ranging in size from 5.5 x 4 to 8.5 x 11, circa 1960s to 1970s. In the letters, Dietrich refers to payments made and received, discusses bills, writes concerning a theatre performance, comments on a court case, makes reference to the Soviet writer Ilya Ehrenburg, and writes on her travels. In overall very good to fine condition, with a few creases and wrinkles.
