ALS signed “Maurice,” one page, 8.25 x 10.5, La Louque letterhead, December 14, 1959. Handwritten letter to producer Don Sharpe, in full: “Of course I will be happy to see you right after New Year’s time—in Paris. But I must know—before—what I will have to sing for the Revlon show—and if there are songs I don’t know—I have to learn them before getting to New York. I will have also to feel what the dialogue will be. I will arrive in New York on the 19th of January and will stay at the Drake Hotel Park Avenue. I will—of course—be plenty busy with my recordings for M.G.M. Records and the rehearsals and taping of the Revlon show. I will leave N.Y. on the 6th of February for San Francisco.” Chevalier adds a postscript at the top of the page: “I think we just did a great job for C.B.S. with Charles Collinwood [sic].” In fine condition.
