Vintage matte-finish 9.75 x 13.75 photo of President Taft by Harris & Ewing, neatly signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen as president, "For my friend, Thomas L. Grant Esq., with grateful appreciation and best wishes, April 23, 1912—Wm. H. Taft.” The photo is presented in its original Harris & Ewing paper folder, which is split at the hinge and heavily worn and chipped on the edges; the photograph itself is in fine condition, with trivial loss to the lower left corner tip.
