Color glossy 13.75 x 10.75 photo of the world's first space rendezvous between the Gemini VI-A and VII spacecraft, affixed to its original 20 x 16 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in black ink, "To Bill Whipkey—with best wishes and many thanks for all of the help—Thomas P. Stafford,” "Wally Schirra," "James Lovell," and "Frank Borman." In very good to fine condition, with dampstaining affecting Schirra's signature and Stafford's inscription. Whipkey was a NASA Production Control Engineer who created many displays and presentation pieces for the astronauts, and often received flown mementos and autographed photos in recognition of his dedicated service.
