Collection of eight original vintage portrait sketches of classic actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood, all of which are signed in ink by the pictured starlet and inscribed to the artist, J. Fred Johnson. The oversized sketches are accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on off-white sheets of drawing paper, approximately 13.5 x 16.5, and include the following actresses: Carol Channing, Dolores Gray, Peggy Lee, Beatrice Lillie, Kim Stanley, Margaret Sullavan (affixed clipped signature), Nancy Walker, and Nydia Westman. Each is also signed in pencil by the artist, and all are matted to an overall size of 16 x 20. In overall very good to fine condition.
