Description

Rare grouping of five issues of Apparis: The Neuilly Newsletter, a humorous in-house publication created in the 1980s by Apple employees headquartered in Paris, France. The grouping consists of issues 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10, with each newsletter featuring articles, polls, updates, interviews, and comical images related to Apple employees and events in Paris and abroad. Included with the newsletters is an Apparis folder, a red “How to Slip a Disk” insert, a yellow “The Summer of Our Content” flyer, and two 11.75 x 16.5 posters from Apparis, one entitled “Welcome, Not-The-Apple-Times. Serious.,” and the other, stylized like a ‘connect the dots’ children’s game, headed “The Cheapest and Easily the Nastiest Postah Ever!” In overall fine condition. These hilarious, often absurdist, newsletters offer a rare glimpse into the strong community base of Apple's marketing and creative teams during the 1980s.
