Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 Ruth Harriet Louise photo of a young Joan Crawford from circa 1927/1928, depicting the Oscar-winning actress lounged in a contemplative pose, clad in a satin gown and wearing jewels and a tiara, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Clarence Bricker, In appreciation of your goodness & kindness, Joan Crawford.” The lower right bears the photography studio blindstamp. In very good to fine condition, with some creasing and silvering to the image, and damage to the upper borders that could be matted out. A considerably early signed oversized photo of the legendary actress.
