Collection of 14 issues of The Sentinel of Freedom (Newark, New Jersey), published from 1812 to 1814, all reporting on military and political events of the War of 1812, with much on Andrew Jackson and the Indians. The attractive, ornate masthead features a vignette portraying a knight in armor, a patriotic eagle with shield, and a scroll reading: "Rights of Man." In overall very good to fine condition.
