Gerrish's regiment at Bunker Hill, a major in Vose's regiment in 1777, and a lieutenant colonel of the 15th Massachusetts in 1779. ALS, one page both sides, 7.25 x 12, April 19, 1807. Lengthy handwritten letter to David Greenough of Jamaica Plain, who had been a member of the 'Sons of Liberty,' regarding the abatement of a tax "of three cents per acre amounting to three hundred dollars." In fine condition.
