Description

Original 2003 color 24 x 36 Apple Computer promotional poster for the launch of AppleMusic.com, the company's first music distribution system, which features a Gibson ES-345 electric guitar against a white background; the guitar would later become better known as the 'Garage Band' icon. Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with small tears and pin holes to the corners, which could be matted out if so desired. AppleMusic.com was a short-lived music website that was replaced soon after its launch by iTunes. In May 2003, this poster image appeared as promo ads on the back covers of several well-known magazines. Eventually, these ads disappeared and were replaced by the iTunes Store, with Apple Computer and Apple Corps squaring off over the use of the new name.
