TLS as president, one page, 6.75 x 8.75, White House letterhead, February 10, 1993. Letter to the Steven Scott Orchestra, in full: “I want to let you know how much I appreciate the special part you played in the Inaugural week activities. Your participation helped create a truly memorable occasion for me, for my family, and for the American people. I am enclosing a copy of my Inaugural Address, as well as a copy of the beautiful poem Maya Angelou read at the swearing-in ceremony — ‘On the Pulse of Morning.’ I hope you enjoy them. Again, thank you for your contribution. I look forward to your continued support on our journey to reunite America.” In very good to fine condition, with old tape stains along the edges, and a repaired tear passing vertically through the letterhead. Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from PSA/DNA and Beckett Authentication Services. The first inauguration of Bill Clinton as the 42nd president of the United States was held on Wednesday, January 20, 1993, only 21 days before this letter was written.
