Unsigned handwritten manuscript by W. C. Fields, twelve pages, 8.5 x 11, no date. A treatment for a brief comedic routine, the first scene referring to a typical motorcycle-with-sidecar episode—a favorite of slapstick vaudevillians. The piece begins: "At rise of curtain stage shows two small cottages right and left, road running from stage right to stage left at rear of cottages. A short hedge divides the two yards. The family enter on motorcycle and side car. Mr. Flinerton is driving motorcycle. Mrs. Flinerton is riding in bathtub and Elmerita is riding on rear seat. As the car approaches gate it back fires several times and on each occasion it is jerked forward about three or four inches." The remainder of the piece presents humorous dialogue between the three. In fine condition.
