Agreement between Ingrid Bergman and RKO Radio Pictures, in which the studio sends "a sixteen millimeter (16 mm.) film print of the motion picture 'The Bells of St. Mary's,'" upon Bergman's agreement that she "will exhibit this print only in your own home for non-profit entertainment." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Ingrid Bergman, and countersigned by the president of RKO Radio Pictures. In fine condition.
Released in 1945, The Bells of St. Mary's stars Bing Crosby as Father Chuck O'Malley and Ingrid Bergman as Sister Mary Benedict. Despite their good-natured rivalry, the priest and nun team up to try to save their church school from being shut down. The movie was the most profitable film in the history of RKO, earning $8 million in North America during its initial run.
