Description

Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 15.75 x 9.75, May 10, 1826. President Adams grants John Vaughn of Richland County, Ohio, a tract of land "at Wooster, in the State of Ohio, containing Eighty acres." Boldly signed at the conclusion in ink by President John Quincy Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In fine condition. Accompanied by an engraved portrait of Adams, featuring his facsimile signature.
