Description

Influential American comedian, actor, and writer (1919–1962) whose improvisational humor and sense of visual style made him one of the most distinctive personalities in the early days of television. DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, February 21, 1957. Agreement between Kovacs and the National Broadcasting Company, confirming an understanding that an existing contract "shall not be deemed to apply to the rendition of my services on The Perry Como Show which is scheduled for broadcast on February 23, 1957." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Kovacs, and countersigned by an NBC representative. In fine condition, with some scattered creasing.
