Scarce original official’s badge from the “Equestrian Events” of the London 1948 Summer Olympics, 51 mm in diameter, which features golden text on an off-white background: “Olympic Games 1948, Official, Equestrian Events.” Included with the badge is an original program for “Equestrian” at the London Games, which notes that events will be held at “Aldershot, Monday August 9th 1948 to Friday August 13th 1948.” The jumping events were competed on August 14th at Wembley Stadium. The program, 12 pages, 5.25 x 8.25, contains names of the competitors and conditions for “Dressage” and a “Three-Day Event,” with several pages bearing spectator notations. In overall fine condition, with light wear and edge stains to the program.
