Attractive sterling silver belt buckle produced for the 5th Track and Field Championships between the United States and the British Empire, which was held at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, California, on August 14, 1932, immediately after the conclusion of the Los Angeles 1932 Summer Olympics. The buckle, 2.25˝ x 1.5˝, features a golden winged foot of Mercury between the American flag and Union Jack in bright red-white-and-blue enamel, with the upper and lower portions bearing a raised globe and text. Includes its original presentation box by Lewis, Inc. In fine condition.
