ALS signed “D. C. Buell,” one page both sides, 6 x 9.5, Galt House letterhead, March 28, 1886. Handwritten letter to General William Farrar 'Baldy' Smith, in part: "I will look over the question you suggest, and answer further about it tomorrow if possible. I am today trying to answer as many as possible of the letters that I find have been accumulating." In fine condition, with a small puncture to the lower portion of the page.
