DeMille, in full: “I have received my copy of ‘Flight of a Tartar Tribe’ which you have had rebound for me. Your man has done a beautiful job and I will regard this volume as a memento of an interesting contact with you and your genius. Thanks for your kind thoughtfulness.” In fine condition.
Flight of a Tartar Tribe is a historical travelogue written by Thomas De Quincey that was first published in 1897. The book details the journey of a group of Tartar tribespeople as they flee from the Russian army in the early 19th century.
