Rare pairing of a prototype oversized hologram sheet and a hologram sticker created for the cover of Prince’s 13th studio album, Diamonds and Pearls. The large hologram measures 7.25 x 6.75 and the unused sticker measures 3.25 x 2.75; both depict Prince posing with dancers Lori Werner and Robia LaMorte, who were known as Diamond and Pearl. In overall fine condition.
Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Recordmecca's Jeff Gold, who states: “This letter is to authenticate two prototype holograms used during the production of the album cover for Prince's 1991 album Diamonds and Pearls. I am a former Executive Vice President/General Manager of Warner Bros. Records, and was the art director for Diamonds and Pearls. I used these during the design process, and they have been in my archives since then.”
