Musical manuscript from Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite" penned by a collector on an off-white 8.75 x 7 sheet, hand-corrected in several places by the composer, signed and inscribed in the lower border in black ballpoint, "To David Bratton, (with corrections), I. Stravinsky, Jan/63." In very fine condition. The Firebird was originally composed for the 1910 Paris season of Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, and marked the beginning of Stravinsky's prolific collaboration with Diaghilev. It became an immediate success, catapulting Stravinsky to international fame.
