Limited edition sterling silver beaker honoring the Apollo 11 mission. Numbered 93/1500, made by Prestons Limited, 9.1 troy oz., 5.25˝ in height and a mouth diameter of 3.25˝, with one side featuring an embossed moon, an engraved lunar module, and text: “Man on the Moon, The Eagle Has Landed, 20th July 1969”; and the opposite featuring an engraved NASA ‘meatball’ logo, a raised Apollo 11 mission insignia, and the astronauts’ name. The underside bears the maker marks and edition number. Includes its original blue leather presentation case, which bears scuffs, a scratch to the top, and cracking to the corners, which keeps the case from closing fully. In fine condition, with some light scuffing and tarnishing to the beaker.
