Description

One-of-a-kind book signed by 11 family members of 'The Remarkable Kennedys,' including brothers John, Robert, and Ted

Signed book: The Remarkable Kennedys by Joe McCarthy. First edition. NY: The Dial Press, 1960. Hardcover with dust jacket, 5.75 x 8.25, 190 pages. Signed on the first free end page in black ballpoint by an astounding 11 members of the Kennedy family: Joseph P. Kennedy, John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, Robert F. Kennedy and his wife, Ethel, Ted Kennedy and his wife, Joan, Patricia Kennedy and her husband, Peter Lawford, and Jean Kennedy and her husband, Stephen Edward Smith. Autographic condition: fine, with a few small stains, and skipping to most signatures due to a troublesome pen. Book condition: VG/VG-, with light soiling to the textblock's top edge, the dust jacket's spine darkened, and several small chips and nicks to the jacket's edges. The consignor affirms that the book was obtained from the nanny of Ted Kennedy. An unprecedented multi-signed offering that serves as a virtual ‘family reunion’ of Kennedy signatures.
