(Walt Disney Studios, 1938) Original storyboard drawing of Donald Duck from Donald's Nephews, which marked Huey, Dewey, and Louie's first appearance in animation. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 6.5 x 5.5 animation paper, the drawing shows Donald in a half-length pose holding and pointing at a book, with a handwritten caption to the lower border reading: “‘I’ll say I can handle ‘em!’” The character image measures 4 x 3.75. In very good to fine condition, with a stain to the chipped upper left corner, and pin holes to borders.
