Distinguished British composer (1902-1983) best known for such works as Façade, a theatrical collaboration with Edith Sitwell, and the oratorio Belshazzar's Feast. Vintage matte-finish 6.75 x 9.25 silver gelatin portrait photo of William Walton by noted photographer Douglas Glass, signed in blue ink, "With kind regards, William Walton, Dec. 6th, 1960." The reverse bears a Glass credit stamp. In very good to fine condition, with two creases, some faint silvering, and ballpoint pen trouble forcing Walton to retrace his signature in fountain pen.
