Description

American merchant and statesman (1741–1811) who represented Pennsylvania in the Continental Congress, the Constitutional Convention, and the US Congress. ALS signed “Thos. Fitzsimons,” one page, 8 x 9.75, January 16, 1801. Letter to Henry Clymer, concerning a payment in a real estate transaction involving 154 acres of land. Affixed along the left edge to a same-size sheet. In very good condition, with light staining, some seal-related paper loss, and a thin tape strip along the left edge.
