TLS signed “John H. Glenn, Jr.,” one page, 8 x 10.5, NASA letterhead, January 10, 1962. Letter to Charles P. Catanese, in full: “Thank you for your very fine letter of December 5, 1961. I have enclosed an autographed card for your collection, and hope you find this satisfactory. I consider it an honor to have my autograph in your collection. Hobbies are a wonderful past-time for people. I am glad you enjoy yours so much. My warmest personal regards to you and your family, Mrs. Catanese, and good luck in the New Year.” In fine condition. A particularly early letter from Glenn, who typed and signed this a month out from his historic Mercury-Atlas 6 mission aboard the Friendship 7 spacecraft.
