Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 17 x 12.5, December 31, 1906. President Roosevelt appoints Homer E. Snyder as "Postmaster at Victor, in the County of Ontario, State of New York." Signed boldly at the conclusion by Theodore Roosevelt and countersigned by Postmaster General George B. Cortelyou. The lower left retains the original Post Office Department seal. Mounted to a same-size piece of heavy cardstock and in very good condition, with trimmed edges, a few small stains, and damage to the corners, which are reinforced with archival tape on the back; Roosevelt's 5.5" signature is essentially unaffected by any flaws.
