Partly-printed DS in Italian, signed “Mussolini,” one page both sides, 9.5 x 14.5, no date but circa 1930s. Official document regarding Captain Treves, accusing him of acts of lechery with a soldier. In part (translated): "The infantry captain in active service, Michelangelo Treves, referred, following a formal investigation, to the judgment of a disciplinary board, returned a contrary verdict, and was, by decree of the Engineering Corps dated June 30, 1932, removed from his rank. Captain Treves was accused of contracting numerous debts, often through deceit, and of committing acts of lechery with a soldier. However, the latter accusation was not proven. Given the opportunity to demonstrate that he had fully rehabilitated himself, he requested and obtained enrollment as a volunteer soldier in a unit mobilized in East Africa. On many occasions, Treves has shown capability, dedication to service, and even valor, receiving praise from his superiors and commendation to be inscribed on his personal records." Boldly signed at the conclusion in ink by Benito Mussolini. In fine condition, with small binding holes along the left edge.
