Description

DS in Italian, signed “Mussolini,” one page, 9.75 x 14.5, October 14, 1934. Document regarding the imprisonment of Agostino Comotti for forgery, in part (translated): "Agostino Comotti, in 1930, was sentenced to 5 months and 25 days of imprisonment for embezzlement. In 1933, subjected to another criminal proceeding for continued forgery, he was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment. Referred to the judgment of a Disciplinary Board held in Trento on June 20, 1934, Comotti was unanimously deemed unworthy to retain his rank. I have approved this verdict, and therefore, I honor myself by submitting to Your Majesty's August Sanction the attached draft decree, by which Comotti's removal from rank is provided for disciplinary reasons pursuant to Article 71, letter e) of the law on the status of officers." Boldly signed at the conclusion in ink by Benito Mussolini. In fine condition.
